MaryKaye grew up in Illinois before moving to California to pursue her education at the University of California, Berkeley, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Social Welfare and Psychology. She began her teaching career in Los Angeles and quickly became a National Board-Certified Teacher. She later moved back to Chicago to be closer to family.
Now serving as both a teacher and a Social-Emotional Coach, she draws on her background in psychology and social welfare to support all types of learners and guide students in their growth and well-being. Passionate about fostering confidence, resilience, and positive relationships, MaryKaye is dedicated to creating inclusive learning environments where every student can thrive.
